I mean everyone!
We just got a collection of new patterns from the talented design team Tin Can Knits. What I particularly like about these patterns is the range of sizes, cause if you want to make a hat for Baby Bill and Uncle Ulysses, you can buy one pattern and do both. Make one for your preteen cousin, cause there is just the right size for her too. Here are some choice basics that are available with this type of sizing spectrum
Also restocked are some of our favourite Jane Richmond patterns like this hat pattern that has a lady size and a tiny tot size included. It’s called Autumn and it is for a real chunky yarn like Brown Sheep Burly Spun.
These patterns are only for the kids but they deserve to be shared too.
Tin Can Knits’ “I Heart Rainbows” pattern, and Never Not Knitting’s “Watermelon”. We have some other lovely children’s patterns from Never Not Knitting. I encourage you to take a look next time you’re in.
Look out for the Knitbot Pattern books that have also just arrived. These lovely books have even lovelier classic knitting designs
“Knit With Me” is a new title we are carrying by knit wear designer Gudrun Johnston. This pattern book features mother/daughter versions of the same sweaters. I find older kid sized patterns are challenging to find and this book had some good ones.
There are so many patterns that the binders are bulging! So much so I had to add another binder. Next time you’re at the cafe get yourself a cup a tea and settle in for some pattern browsing. Now that the weather is turning colder we could all use a day devoted to knit-inspiration.
PS. If you haven’t settled on a Halloween costume yet, I really like this idea.
May the knit be with you!
