Have you seen this?
how about this?
If not, you might want to come by The Knit Café this weekend to get a look. Our order from Lichen and Lace is selling fast, and no wonder with beauties like these ones.
If you are drooling on your keyboard and wondering what you might knit with this luscious yarn then check out The Knit Café’s 504 King West pattern. It’s free and so fun to knit and it will give you lots of opportunities to play with all the colour possibilities available in our Lichen and Lace pallet.
I couldn’t resist putting together some combos myself. For this project you will need two main colours and three accent colours. In these pics the Lichen and Lace is paired with Koigi Mini Skeins. Each Mini is just enough yarn to make one stripe on the selvedge edge of the 504 King West.
Lichen and Lace’s Orchid and Citron
Lichen and Lace’s Shroom and Lichen
Lichen and Lace’s Beach Glass and Pewter
Lichen and Lace’s Silver Fox and Soot
These two are paired with a few Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails in Edison Bulb, and Rainwater, the other skeinette is by Koigu.
If you need some support while knitting your 504 King West pattern you are in luck. The Knit Cafe’s has just announced a new class offered over the spring and summer called “Asymmetric Summer Scarf Workshop” where you can get lots of guidance and tips while you knit your scarfette.
