Perhaps you didn’t realize there was such a thing as World Wide Knit in Public Day, but there is. A day where knitters gather in gaggles and blow the publics minds by showing their strength of numbers and their knitting chops.
This WWKIP day (as it is known) is a special one for us. Our Knit Cafe collaborator Kate Austin is hosting an event.
Bring your knitting to Walter Saunders Park
Make Pompoms for a park wide display
See the interactive GIANT weaving display
and add to the display with tree wrapping.
