Bursting at the seams with beautiful yarn! There are worse problems.
This week we received two exciting shipments of hand dyed yarn. Yesterday was Julie Asselin Day! Our box full of goodies from Quebec included both the Piccolo Sock yarn that we know and love and also something new for The Knit Café. It’s Leizu DK. Like the name suggests it is a Double Knit weight yarn, but what the name doesn’t tell you is that it is a super shimmering blend of Superwash Merino and Silk.
Today, shipped from Sackville New Brunswick, we received some Lichen and Lace. It is gorgeous! More 80/20, which is Lichen and Lace’s sock weight yarn and some Worsted Weight too. Just in time to knit up hats and mits and scarves for gifts.
Check it out.

Besides that we received more cheap and cheerful Berroco Vintage and Vintage Chunky in a plethora of colours. There could not be a better time to come by and witness our colour explosion installation.
